Oh noes, you have to actually finally do something somewhat challenging, and you're all crying. Just wow. /uninstall already please.
Oh and btw, had you spent all this time crying actually playing the game, you might've finished DoA by now.

Read it again. They're complaining about the reward, Razah. He is most certainly not the elite variable hero reward that had been promised.

Meh. Down to 1 district (20-ish people) now, so no rebuttal needed.
Anyway, yeah. Razah sucks and it's not worth the time. No fix in the update makes for a very sad spazzer.

So don't unlock him. There are a variety of other uses for the obtained gemstones.

I think they are referring to page 61 of the manual, Razah, where it says 'Profession: Variable'.

In Factions things just go too fast, while in Prophecies it is much slower giving more time to the player for him to adapt and assimilate the info, enjoying the game while gradually learning about it.
I think they should give these newbie quest fixing priority, new players dont need to suffer any more then we old players have to,not yet at least. (although their time shall come mwaahaha)
Let noobies stay in their "pre-sear" a litle longer (where everything was perfect and dreamy if you get the analogy).
Any way just voicing my opinion, as im sure your question has alot of subjective answers.

I finished Factions first and then later got Prophecies so this thing not apply to each player. Factions really was not that hard compared to Prophecies. Also this game is not very complex to find enough effective build to get Cantha's city and then you already can get enough armor to survive from those mob groups.

I am sure they are working on skill balancing, there is a lot that needs to be done. Maybe they will finely balance old cookie cutter builds they have seem to have overlooked in the past 18 months. And hopefully they are working on improving the AI it’s good but it can be better. Mainly the casters while melee runs now caster still commit suicide, which I really can’t under stand why there is that difference between the two AI’s. Other thing is the AI should be smart enough to know that its being body blocked.

I know two kids (ages 12 and 13) that are still trying to get through Consolate Docks. I know its kind of funny and sad, but they did shell out $50 for the game.

Which still does not mean promised. Things in writing can change. I know...its hard to believe...but it'll be alright...
Theres a whole different meaning between reading something in the manual and being promised something. They never have promised us anything.

DoA is a major issue to a majority of the community. The evidence is right there. A "major" update went from a dozen active districts to 2 in less than a week. In those two districts you have many that just beat Abaddon and are giving it a try, and a few who actually enjoy getting beat up for little to no reward.
Say what you want, but its clear that DoA has failed the majority of the GW community in that most see it as a waste of time. That's not good for a major update.

DoA didn't fail the majority of the GW community, the GW community failed it.. hence the "Mission Failed" message you get when you get your butt handed to you because you only want to use cookie cutters.. People failed DoA because they can't think for themselves and rely on waiting for some genius to come up with the perfect cookie cutter then they outlaw any class that does not fit into said cookie cutter. kthxbye

Sorry but Guru represents a very small proportion of the overall GW community. None of my former guildies moaned about DoA, a lot of my in game "friends" like the challenge...like the post above I feel that people got use to the PvE side of GW being easy and now that there is a challenging area they can't hack it so they go back to easy places like Tombs.

This is true. And they failed to meet the expectation set, so they lowered the cost to unlock Razah in pvp.
All we ask is they do the same for pve. Either that, or give us the Razah we were expecting.
It's simple: Ritualists are not 'elite'.
kthx.

If you can't pay the price to unlock him in PvE, you are not elite. Whether ritualists are elite or not is not the issue here, that hero by definition is elite.

They should have made the elite hero the only available monk.
I'm assuming that Anet made the 1 rit hero only available to elite players because they felt that the rit prof is way to powerful for PVE farming purposes.
Rits are very good/cheap at PVE farming.
